1. Overview
The Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 comes packed with features not commonly found in a compact, ultraportable machine. For example, you get a powerful Intel Core Solo processor, an integrated webcam option, a very small form factor, an integrated DVD burner and also, to top it all off, good looks to boot. It certainly is a machine to be considered if you're looking for a ton of features in a small machine.

2. Design
Let's first look at the design. The Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 weighs just 3 pounds and comes in two colors, either black or white. I think the black colored model is the more elegant and sexy looking of the two. The chassis is sleek and is well-designed, with a thickness of about 2 CDs. I find the design clean, with some good looking LED lights, along with nice curves and a smooth finish. Very professional looking machine, especially if you choose the black color option.
3. Display
The display screen on the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 is about 10.6 inches wide. The display supports resolutions up to 1280 x 768. It also has one of the brightest screens I've seen in an ultraportable. You can adjust the brightness setting from one all the way to a setting of eight. At a setting of eight, the screen becomes really bright, which is actually a good thing. I find that many laptops have a maximum brightness setting that is too dim.
3. Keyboard and Other Controls
The keyboard on the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 is not full sized (unlike the
Lenovo ThinkPad X61). This is because the compact frame does not allow it. So what you'll find is that the keys are smaller than a normal laptop keyboard. So you do need some time to get used to it. That being said, it is a great keyboard to type on, so most users will not complain.
4. Ports and Connections
The Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 comes with in-built Bluetooth support,
wireless 802.11g support, as well as ample USB ports and Firewire port. This is more than enough for any multimedia usage - you don't have to worry about not having enough ports for connecting external devices like portable hard drives. Oh, did I mention the in-built memory card reader and fingerprint reader?
5. Battery Life
The battery of the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 is a 6-cell Lithium ion. Using the laptop with wireless on and doing some word processing gives you about 3.5 to 4 hours of battery life - which is very good. If you get the optional battery in the multi-bay, you are going to get about 8 hours of battery life. Quite frankly, this is one of the best laptops I've seen in terms of battery life.
6. Shortcomings
There aren't many shortcomings in the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320, really. Perhaps the only downside is that Fujitsu chose to include an Intel Core Solo processor instead of a Core 2 Duo. Since the pre-installed Windows Vista is really quite CPU intensive, I thought it might have been wise to use a slightly faster processor. But on the whole, if one can overlook this, I think the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 is a brilliant machine.
Conclusion
Well, I hope this article has helped you understand the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 a bit better. What will really strike you about the P7320 is the awesome screen, nice sleek looks, compact but solid build and as well as great battery life. I'd certainly recommend the Fujitsu LifeBook P7320 for those folks who need need a small laptop to bring everywhere they want to go. On the whole, it's a great little computing powerhouse.
