The Dell Inspiron 1525 is a pretty mean machine. We're talking about specs like
a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 120 GB hard drive and a DVD
writer. We also have a 15.4-inch WXGA screen, built-in wireless, a media card
reader and ample input and output ports. All this at a price of about $1000! In
my opinion, its a really good deal.

bulky and plain. Well the new Dell Inspiron 1525 is not like that. We're looking
at a machine that is 25% smaller, 30% slimmer and also lighter than older
generations of the Inspiron. The Dell Inspiron 1525 also comes in eight color
options and a glossy finish - making it a very good looking laptop indeed. 3. Display If you like nice looking displays on your laptop, you won't be disappointed with
the Dell Inspiron 1525. Equipped with a 15.4" widescreen XGA display, the image
resolution on this baby look stunning. Anyway you view it, horizontal or
vertical, the colors and image reproduction are almost flawless. 4. Keyboard and Other Controls I've always been a stickler for good keyboard design on a laptop. The Dell
Inspiron 1525 has a great keyboard. Try typing out a few sentences and you will
find that the keys have excellent cushioning and comfort.

Inspiron 1525 has got a very good line-up: dual headphone out, microphone in,
memory card reader, four USB ports (thats very rare on a laptop), built-in
wireless, built-in Ethernet, HDMI out and FireWire. Very impressive indeed. 6. Battery Life The Dell Inspiron 1525 comes with a 6-cell 56WHr Li-Ion battery. If you run it
with power management in Windows, you can easily get almost 3 hours of battery
life. That's very good performance considering the features you find in this
laptop. 7. Shortcomings There aren't many shortcomings associated with the Dell Inspiron 1525. Perhaps
one of the only complaints is that the fan nosie from the laptop is a little on
the high side. But its not loud enough to be a problem. Conclusion Well, I hope the above has given you some insight into the new Dell Inspiron 1525 and its salient features. On the whole, the Dell Inspiron 1525 is a great value budget laptop. It also has good looks and great performance - making it a welcome addition to any office or home. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a good laptop.
